Gracious Father, we have been entrusted to seek the next rector for the people of St. Thomas Church.

Please be with us.

Direct and guide us to listen deeply to you, to ourselves, to one another, and to those who are depending on us to call a faithful pastor who will care for your people.

Grant us the desire and ability to maintain our commitment and self-reflection.

Grant us patience in deliberations and openness in our search as we choose our new spiritual leader.

Grant us wisdom to help all candidates see our parish as it truly is.

Strengthen them so they present themselves faithfully to us.

Give us courage to respond and act as you lead us toward discernment.

Help us to be ever mindful of the joy and love in our tasks at hand, and that all we do is to your glory.

Come, Holy Spirit, Come.
