The Reverend Reid T. McCormick
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I assume that since you are reading this message that you have either attended one of our functions or are considering joining us on Sunday morning. I don’t want to bore you with my life story, so to be brief – I went to seminary later in life and have been an Episcopal priest since 1997, serving in six different churches since my ordination. The rest of my story can be heard as I share stories in my sermons, blogs and at other times.
What is more important to me is that I know your story and that I respond to your interests and concerns. I desire to make sure that you develop a sense of belonging that I believe the members of St. Thomas share and makes us unique. My responsibility and commitment to you is to provide you with all tools and resources to enhance your spiritual growth. Jackie and I accepted the call to this church and decided to live in this community because we felt the love and fellowship that the people share here. What more can I say except come see for yourself. But beware – if you don’t want to be around overly friendly people then you probably won’t enjoy being with us!
