What is God calling us to do at St. Thomas?
Gracious Heavenly Father, our help in ages past and hope for years to come. We come to you now as the people of St. Thomas Church, asking that our hears and minds be opened to the projects You have set before us to remember that Faith, Hope, and Love are gifts of Your Holy Spirit and are continually offered to our loving community. May we find freedom through Your giving Spirit. We as these things in Jesus’ Holy Name – AMEN.
Preserving St. Thomas
In order for us to perpetuate our ministry, we have decided to address capital issue regarding the care of our beautiful facility. Based on over 100 responses to our questionnaire, we are proceeding with plans that reflect the wants and needs of our overall vision. As a result of all of the hard work, we have determined that we can fund a large portion of the identified needs by embarking on a capital campaign to raise the necessary money to restore the exterior and interior of the church, update the wiring and lighting within the sanctuary, create accessibility for people with disabilities, add storage and a handicap restroom, and create w beautiful courtyard to enhance the exterior of the church grounds.
This is an exciting time for our beloved church! We have been dedicated to serving the people of this community for 158 years! We are hopeful that the financial commitment of our members coupled with additional help from blessed donors will raise the necessary funds to compete and fulfill what we believe our Lord has called us to do and be. Just as those who have gone before us made the mission of St. Thomas a priority, we share in that same spirit today.
Thank you for your prayers and consideration regarding the future of St. Thomas. We hope that you will join us! May our Lord’s blessings be upon you!
